Solar that actually works.

We started Solara in 2019 because India's rooftop solar industry had a problem: cheap installations, broken promises, abandoned customers. We wanted to build the opposite of that.

Every system we install carries a 25-year performance guarantee. Every customer gets lifetime app access. Every issue gets remote diagnosis before they even know there is a problem.

We are MNRE empanelled, BIS certified, and ISO 9001:2015 audited — because the paperwork matters for your warranty claim five years from now.

2019
Solara founded in Pune
Three engineers from IIT & NIT pooled their savings to start an installation company that did not cut corners. First customer was a 2 kW home in Baner.
2020
100 homes powered
Despite COVID disruptions, we hit our first hundred residential installations. Built our internal monitoring platform from scratch.
2021
First commercial & society projects
Expanded to housing societies and small commercial buildings. Launched our public-facing app — now used by every customer.
2022
MNRE empanelment
Approved by the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy. Expanded to Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Delhi NCR.
2023
1,000 customer milestone
Crossed 1,000 active installations. Launched solar-with-battery solutions for outage-prone areas.
2024
2,000+ rooftops, ₹18 Cr saved
Our customer network has saved over 18 crores collectively. ISO 9001:2015 certification achieved.
2025
Where we are now
2,400+ active customers. Expanding to Chennai, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata. Building India's most-loved solar brand, one rooftop at a time.
